Rodent Proof Fill Fabric is a specialised gap sealant for rats, engineered with non-corrosive stainless steel wool and recycled, fire-retardant poly fibres. As reliable rodent exclusion fabric, it's designed for irregular gaps, foundation cracks, wall voids, and openings around pipes and utility lines, spaces that a straight strip product isn't built to seal.
Used as wall gap rat proofing or a dedicated pipe penetration rodent seal, this is a completely non-toxic rodent exclusion method, ideal for rat proofing for warehouses and food facilities that need chemical-free solutions.
How to Use

Unlike plain steel wool, this fabric expands to fill the space and includes fire-retardant recycled fibres woven through it. The stainless composition also won't rust the way ordinary steel wool eventually does, so it holds up much longer in damp conditions.
The fabric seals on its own, but adding a layer of sealant on top gives extra stability and weatherproofing, particularly for exterior-facing gaps exposed to rain.
Metal cutters or strong scissors to cut it to size, and a blunt tool like a dull screwdriver to pack it into the gap. Gloves and safety goggles are recommended during installation since the material includes fine steel fibres.
