Know your beetle problem before it becomes a recall. This stored product beetle trap monitors cigarette, flour, and khapra beetles in food and storage facilities using a combined pheromone and kairomone lure.
The Storgard QC Dome is a pheromone monitoring trap for stored product beetles, an improved version of a trap design that has been an industry standard since the 1990s. It combines pheromone lure and food-attractant kairomones into a single lure tray, capturing both male and female beetles for a more accurate population estimate than pheromone-only traps.nnAs both a dedicated cigarette beetle monitoring tool and a broader flour beetle trap, it also functions for khapra beetle detection, making it a comprehensive stored grain pest trap for facilities managing multiple species.
Cigarette beetles, confused and red flour beetles, khapra and warehouse beetles, with an Ultra-Combi lure tray option that additionally attracts drugstore beetles, rusty grain beetles, granary weevils, maize weevils, rice weevils, red-legged ham beetles, and saw-toothed grain beetles.
Place in a grid pattern, with 15 to 20m spacing for cigarette beetle and khapra/warehouse beetle traps, and 10m for confused/red flour beetle traps.
Check weekly, replace lure trays every two months.
Clean the trap dome and reservoir quarterly.
Ongoing warehouse insect monitoring as part of an IPM program.
Early detection across large storage footprints.
Supports food facility pest monitoring for audit and compliance requirements.

Safe treatments
Detection and monitoring only. Control requires identifying and removing infested product, improving hygiene practices, and where needed, targeted treatment or fumigation based on what the monitoring data shows.
At least once weekly is recommended, and more often if catches start increasing, since rising numbers usually signal a developing problem worth investigating quickly.
Not necessarily. Pheromones typically attract males only in sex-pheromone lures, and traps don't catch larvae, so zero catches should still be confirmed with a physical inventory inspection rather than treated as a guarantee.
Ambient storage lasts up to a year, and refrigeration extends shelf life to roughly two years, so you can stock up without worrying about lures losing effectiveness quickly.
This depends on your facility size and layout. Our team can help calculate the right grid density based on the specific dimensions and storage configuration of your site.
